Since announcing Heartburn 1.0 on KvR the other day, we've had several hundred visitors. Most of you found your way to the Heartburn page. About half of you downloaded the demo package. Almost no one actually bought the software. That's okay and all, I'm just curious why you didn't. Was it because you didn't think it was worth the money? Or was it because you can't afford to buy software currently? Or do you only use free software? Or are you still considering it? Or was the demo version just too good?
Probably we have to try it out a little longer!
There are so many VSTis and VSTfx and we- Soundfreaks - are always on the run for the freshest synths.:-)
to be honest i hadnŽt checked my downloaded synth until ...... i read this post and tested the GUI VERSION. the non-gui version is horrible.
But the Gui-Version sounds really great, it is easy to control. Perhaps iŽll spend some money ...when i have it.
Rock on!
Yeah, certainly I won't bother posting host-interface versions of any future projects I do; Heartburn is really a transitional project for me. I may just drop the host-interface version from future releases of the Heartburn demo package as well. We'll see.
